5sos concert 28-05-16

About a month ago i went to the 5 Seconds of Summer concert i bought tickets for even longer time ago!
Not gonna lie; i am still wearing the wristband because Camilla and i had freaking Soundcheck tickets!

THe day before the show i met up with some friend i had never actually met in real life before. They are some other danish fans that i met on twitter. I have known one of them for a longer time because we were both Tokio Hotel fans and somehow became friends on Facebook without acutally knowing each other at some point. But it was super fun and we were kind of waiting for 5 Seconds of Summer to hit the town, because we knew they had a day off. Jokes on us when we had walked around Herning the whole day and we finds out they had been in Aarhus the whole day instead. *sadface*
But it was awesome to finally put some faces on the ghosts i have been writing with online for over a year now!

We were at the venue at 2pm to get in line to get out wristbands and lanyards which said VIP all over them. We were sat in a line on the floor - which was kind of annoying when you are wearing a corset - before we walked in and were sat on the 3 first rows of chair in front of the stage. Sadly Camilla and i were split up and we sat in each our end of the venue doing the soundcheck.
The boys came out and said hello and played Long Way Home which is my favorite song from the first album so the feels hit me so hard right from the start! After that they sat down on the edge of the stage and a microphone was giving around so we could ask them questions. I'm the kind of shy fangirl loser that didn't dare to ask them anything and just sat there ans questioned my existence on this earth...
But it was a nice experience to hear them talk and get kind of "personal" with them in a way that not everyone get to be. Also they were speaking directly to us and not a TV camera or something.

At the concert we were standing as close to the stage as passible in Michael site of the stage. He almost stole the whole show at times because he was dancing or running around the stage all the time. But as the Ashton girl i am, i was standing in the wrong spot! Even though i could not get any close to him, his head was hidden behind a crash the whole concert.

The whole show was awesome and it was nice to hear the new songs live, finally!! But there was two things that kept nagging me.
1. They didnøt play Safty Pin, which i think is weird now that they have the logo from the song all over the album and the internet.
2. The sound was really high pitch at times doing the concert. At first i thought it was only me and didn't mention it, but the morning after when Camilla and i woke up we talked about it and she thought the same. Maybe it was bacause we were standing so close to the stage? We will never know! But it was a good opportunity to take some great photos!

Shout out to my moms new camera!

Soundcheck tickets for 5sos!

I am SO excited about this!
Last month I managed to get these holy tickets for 5 Seconds Of Summers upcoming Tour 'Sounds Live Feels Live'!
I must say i was so nervous that morning that i cound not eat and my stomach hurted. I had to leave class 15 min before the sale that started at 10AM because i was jumping up and down in the chair. Basiclly! I'm pretty sure that those who saw me in the common area thought i was on something xD

But i refreshed the page 100 times and was on skype with some other fans who also wanted tickets.
I was very close to screaming when i saw i got the tickets for me and Camilla. I was shaking so much of excitement that i had a hard time writing my credit card infromation so i could pay for them.

I got the freaking soundcheck tickets so we can watch them already at soundcheck and after that they will sit down and let us talk a bit with them. Ask some questions and stuff. After that we have some crazy good spots in front of that stage on the left which is Michaels side of the stage!!

All Time Low - Tinderbox - 28th June

Like most of the younger danish population i went to a music festival this weekend. My friend Maja and I got our tickets a while back when we heard that All Time Low would come to the festival.

All Time Low is not that big in Denmark, so it was kind of strange that they came here to a Festival and played the smallest stage there. I'm pretty sure that they play some huge stages in US and UK. They played already at the afternoon which is for the "smaller artists". I was pretty offended that such a big band for me was so small for everone else but yeah.

We arrived pretty early to stand in the front row. So we were in the front to a band before All Time Low that we didn't know. They were not bad, but it was pretty awkward to stand in front when you can't sing along to any of the songs.

I was a wreck when we could see Alex's blue hair backstage. I always starts to shake before a conert i have been looking forward to for so long.
They made a pretty chill entrance and soon Jack became the whole party of the stage. He was so funny through the whole concert. He was running around the stage and infront of the stage. He crawled up and down the stage right in front of Maja and I all the time. I totally froze everytime he did is, so i didn't even get any good pictures of him standing right in front of me x.x *sigh*

Jack got a danish graduation cap at some point and had it on for a few songs. Excitingly stating that he graduated. He also collected all the bras people threw on the stage and had a little onesided conversation with a half naked guy laying close to the concert area. Later Alex agreed that we all could make sweet loving backstage. All in all a very awesome and humorous concert.

(Sorry any missspells but i am currently listing to All Time Low and did more than once start to write lyrics in the middle of everything and deleted it again)

Karup å marked 2015

Yet another year with Lars Lilholt band! Though this have been the most stressfull marked weekend i have ever had.
It is kind of a tradition that the whole family is coming to our campsite where the Karup Å Marked is every year in the middle of june. I have been using my whole week for baking, because it is part of the tradition and my grandparents simply love when i bake for them.

I was crazy enough to thing i should bake a cheesecake which takes days to make, if you make them the right way. (Hummingbird bakery recipe) My mom wanted my "famous" white chocolate and cranberry cookies and then i tried to make french nougat (didn't end up that good). So it was kind of a project.

The festivity started already friday but i had to work Friday untill 6pm and work from 10am Saturday, so i stayed at home friday, because i didn't want to drive to work from the campsite and i don't really sleep that well out there. So i had to speed frem work (not really) Saturday and i got there half an hour after the rest of my family (Thank you old man who drove so fucking slow in front of me all the way from work to the campsite) and i felt bad, because my family didn't want to drink coffee or eat the cake before i came. They just sat there.

When the famile went home, one of my dads old friends came and started to drink really much. He is annoying enough already and i don't understand a word he is saying because he speaks like a redneck. So the drinking was just a pain in my ass. Luckly i had a few friend coming to get me and i could spend some time with them before i had to eat dinner.

The concert was not the best. For the first time in the.. well more than 10 years i have been to these concerts.. it was raining like hell. Everyone was wet and cold and had umbrellas with them. (Video)
Also it was quite slippery. A drunk lady broke her ankel right it front of us because she was dancing around. 4 first aid people came to get her, because she was quite big. Luckly me friend Camilla found me again and we saw the rest of the concert together in the rain.

Better pictures didn't i get this year. I didn't want to take any camera with me in the rain.

5 Seconds of Summer - Forum - 12th May

And finally the highlight of the year! Seing my biggest obsession live in Copenhagen. 5 Seconds of Summer live in front of my very own eyes! It was amazing!

But serious talk. I can't stop going on about these dudes and they are such a big part of my life, that it is almost ridiculous. The bands twitter and instagram are the first thing i'm looking at in the morning on my phone. So seing them live and get some real human behind all these silly pictures i see everywhere is so big for me!

It was a long day. Camilla and i started up by taking the bus to the nearest trainstation to get to Aarhus. In Aarhus we had to take the concert bus to Copenhagen already at 1pm and we where at the venue arond 5.15pm. The queue was all the way around Forum when we got there, but the line was quick so it was okay. Some people got kick back in the line because they were running in, but seriously.. who is running in, when you have a seat ticket? You don't get any closer to your idol by running in to your seat.

The warm up band was Hey Violet and i have hear one song from them before the concert. The were okay, but i like bands with male leadsingers the best. I like their music, but i did not become a fan.

But when Ashton (the drummer) got on the stage.. HOLY SHIT i don't think i have ever been screaming that much in my life. He is starting up the show with some epic drumming before the others get on the stage and i didn't know what to do to myself because he is drop dead gorgeous and i was fangirling så hard. Though i don't think we was as "alive" as on the Live CD. You can hear him yelling all the time but he didn't approached the audience that much. Michael in the other hand did almost all the talking. He is a lillte cutie pie in a "punk rock" body.

Though the boys didn't seem so thrilled about Denmark.
To quote Michael; "Copenhagen your city is.......*Insert awkward silence here*... cool.."
They were talking about the bad weather they have had the two days they were here and how there was bikes everywhere. Ashton even wanted to know how many from the audience took the bike to the concert. It's funny how everyone always talks about bikes when it's Denmark. I don't think it's that bad.
They were talking a bit of danish but i didn't catch what ever they were trying to say. Though i do think Michael said "Godmorgen" in the Good Girls song after Calum sang "..and if you ask her she says.." I got it on video!
If you want to see the videos i got at the concert (I got a really great video of their new song Permanent Vacation) then the link to my youtube channel is above or here! Or you can click here to see the Good Girls song.

All my pics from the concert are on my twitter

WIP pictures of Andy Biersack close up

I did this drawing of my beloved Andy Biersack before the concert with Black Veil Brides. I send it to their e-mail dedicated to fanart so i hope they see it sometimes and put it on their facebook page! It would mean the world to me!

The first two pics looks weird because they were taking in the night.

Black Veil Brides Concert - Amager Bio - March 29th

The first of three concert is now over and wow it was quite an experience!
I have been a fan of Black Veil Brides for 4-5 years now and this was my first concert with them. As i wrote here they have been in Denmark two times before without me being there to support them so i was hella happy that i was there this Sunday!

I have never been to a real Metal concert before, only a small metal night with "local bands" in a small club, so this was all new for me. My hands are wrecked because of work so when i started clapping it hurt like hell. But i quickly found out that clapping was not the thing at a metal concert. Simply just show your appreciation by satans fingers \m/

I became a fan of (one of) the warm ups which was Fearless Vampire Killers! A london band with an awesome sound and a great (and hot) leadsinger Kier. If you like Black Veil Birdes then i think you should check them out!

And now to the serious fangirling!
I just have to say that Andy Biersack is the most perfect human that walks this planet. You will never understand how perfect he is to me. I almost didn't feel worthy to see him live in action. His smile through the concert was almost too much and i don't think i have been screaming so much my whole life. It was a perfect concert. Though he didn't take of his shirt.. shame but his bandmate Ashley revealed his famous "Outlast" tattoo so i'm not disappointed.

The fact that CC was so ready for the show that he broke the drums at the first song was only a plus! It gave Andy some times to talk about their Copenhagen adventure on bikes, which i have never seen coming. A metal band around my little country on bikes.. well.

A pretty good concert year 2015

I have to say - for once the time can only go by too slow!

I am a big music lover and i live for two things.. Traveling and concerts! Seing a band live is so much better than hearing the CD on repeat. I already have some big bands and musicians on my list of concerts. Bon Jovi, Tokio Hotel, Green Day, Joan Jett, Linkin Park and Bryan Adams are some of them... i really need to write this stuff down, because some of them is sooo long ago now.

Anyway i have a few conerts planed for this year! Actually my top 3 artists right now, so i feel pretty lucky! Here is my top 3!

1. If you know me, you will know about this. 5 Seconds of Summer is coming to Denmark May 12th! I got the tickets back in July and they were sold out in 3 days. They are my favorite thing right now and their twitter is the first thing i check in the morning to be honest! (I know i'm sad) So this is THE concert for me this year! And it's only a plus that i'm going with one of my oldest friends Camilla!

2. It was hard to pick a second but i have to say Black Veil Brides is a band im also super and over excited to see March 29th. They have been in Denmark 2 times before where i planed to go but first time they canceled the same morning, because the leadsinger Andy was sick. Lucky for me i was an active user of twitter back then and saw that the bassist wrote on twitter, that Andy was not even in Denmark yet. There was no way he could get there in time so i stay home from school for nothing! Second time i could not afford the train ride to Copenhagen... BUT THIS TIME!!! I will get there and i am going alone! Because no one i know likes them that much. *sadface*

3. Im sorry i had to put these guys third but All Time Low is finally coming to Denmark!! Or it's first time i hear about at least.
I have been a smaller fan of these guys for sooo long. It was back when i discovered Tokio Hotel and started to listen to.. well that kind of music. Around 7-8 years ago? I started to go back to them this year and i preorderd their new album that comes out in April and im excited for the concert!
Well it is a festival and im going with my friend Maja since she likes them too! I guess Robbie Williams is coming that day as well, but All Time Low is the reason i want to go to this Festival (Tinderbox) that was unknown to me until Maja told me that All Time Low was coming to Denmark June 28th.

Favorite band/singer: Tokio Hotel just started making music again so i'm existed to hear the new album to come out! It's not like the old Tokio Hotel but i still don't know what to think about it. I think i need the whole album before i say any more but they definitely changed.

Favorite youtuber: DanIsNotOnFire! It's nice to know that there are people out there more awkward than me! :D

Favorite youtube video: As a fangirl i have been reading a lot of fanfics about everything possible. So this is gold for me! BBC Radio 1 found a fanfic about Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom and got their hands on the actor playing Neville (Matthew Lewis) and made him act out this fan fiction with one of their employees.

Favorite game: The Lord of the Rings: War in the North

5SOS concert tickets - GOT THEM!

I really got them this Wednesday because im a freak and subscribed to their newsmail and got the code for presale, but i GOT THEM!
I was sitting at 10am where they went on sale and the freaking code didn't work at first. All the good tickets were gone when i finally got in. I was so angry at myself for a long time i tell you!!

Today... or tomorrow....well Friday! The rest of the tickets got sold in a few hours after the "real sale" started so im pretty happy with my tickets now that i think of the other shitty places to sit.... yes... SIT.

One does not simply sit down at a concert?! Well maybe if it is acoustic like when i saw Bryan Adams... but this? Really? Im pretty sure im stading up the secound they go on stage...

Also one of my struggles... my camera is too big.. i'm not allow to take it with me! How do i deal with this? It's so frustrating!

Now i will go on vacation and leave you with some fanart by moi!

Karup Å Koncert 2014

Yet again yet again!
i think it's 15. year in a row i have been to the Karup Å koncert! I really enjoy it though! It's a weekend with family, friends and good music! Well not all of the music are good but you can just stay in the caravan if you don't want to hear it.
I baked a Apple and cinnamon cake now that it is a tradition that my grandparents comes and visit us and to see the flea market near the campsite. And i just like baking..

In the evening Lars Lilholt came on the stage, which is the main reason everyone is there. For the first time i had my SLR camera with me so i tried to get infront of the stage to get some nice pictures, while my family stayed behind. I did not get too close and im not the tallest person in the world so my pictures were a little shitty in the start, but an extremely nice (and handsome!) guy saw me with my camera and help me closer to the stage and was standing by my side the rest of the time i was in front of the stage to make sure that no one was comming near me and my expensive camera with their beer and all that. And he made people in front of me move! xD  it was so cool! But i didn't get to talk with him that much :C

Also i met some old friends i haven't really been talking to in ages! It was soo good to see them again and i really want to get more in contact with them again before i go to spain!

Monthly Favorites: February

For the first time i'll try to do this monthly favorites which was a idea me, Maja from RandomDanishCitizen and Lonnie from PlottingBunnies came up with! I know it's seen before but we made our own list. I am not that fancy so i can write about new makeup products every month or a miraculous cream to my ugly face so yeah... This is a bit more personal u know! The tea thing is my thing.. beucause it is te thing i drink the most and i collect tea. Like seriously!

Best experience: I guess im going to say the same thing as Maja. Our little "date" with pizza and comedy. Jacob Wilson is one of my favorite comedians and i think the tickets was super cheap. I really like him because everything is not perverted like so many other comedians! And you can relate to some of the stories he tells.. Well Maja mostly but yeah xD
Favorite movie: I think it was Monsters University :3  Im a big Disney fan and i really liked the first movie when i was younger. Im really glad that i have ViaPlay so i can watch some newer movies without going to the cinema all the time. Though i enjoy it, but im not rich!
Favorite TV-series: No doubt. This month it is Walking Dead like i have been writing about earlier. I'm totaly in love with this series now! It's very fascinating to see how people may react if some kind of apocalypse. Will it really be survival of the fittest or will we keep our humanity? You will never know... or and one more think...DARYL!!! He is so awesome omg
Favorite song: A Youtuber called Kimmi Smiles made a pop/punk cover version of Kiss the Girl from The little mermaid which is really good! She is in general a really good singer, but i like the way she makes the songs into her own style!
Favorite actor: If you had asked me this every other moment i would say Johnny Depp, but not this time! Sorry Depp! This month i will say it's Norman Reedus! The dude playing Daryl in Walking Dead. God he is so cool!
Favorite band/singer: All time low! Yes! They were in Denmark in the end of February and i didn't get to see them, which just made me hear them much more than before. Just to make myself feel bad xD
Favorite youtuber: I really like FunForLouis videos at the moment. He is traveling around the world and filming it all. It is really good inspiration if you are interested in traveling and if you want to visit some of the places too some day.
Favorite youtube video: A video called Disney Dudez by TodrickHall. It's about the disney princesses breaking up with the princes and them the princes starts a boyband xD  it sounds really weird, but if you like disney, you will like this one!
Favorite game: Lord of the Ring Online Game! Even though it have been some time since i played this game, then it is the game i have spent most time playing since i finished school. It's free to download from Steam and it's a MMO game so i use to play it with a friend!
Best buy: My Vagabond boots! I ruined my last pair of boots and i can't drive the car in my high heeled boots so i needed a new pair and i found a pair of Vafabond boots which was on sale! They were 1000DKK before, but i got them for 500DKK.
Favorite tea: This one a special for me! Maja does not drink tea, but i don't drink anything else... well kind of. I drink a lot of tea! I have had a period with spicy teas but lately i have found my Earl Grey again! It's kind of boring, but Earl Grey is simply one of the best teas ever.

You can read Maja's Fabruary favorites here.

Song of the day: All Time Low - Lost in stereo

I don't know why i do this to myself, but like when i couldn't t go to the Black Veil Brides concert, i am sitting and listing to All Time Low 24/7 now. It's like i'm trying to make myself feel as bad as possible because i can't go to their concert xD

Anyways.. i have been listning to this song 14 times i a row now and it's here for you to enjoy.

Concerts i want to go to.. but can't

This is so unfair!
Why is all the fun happening i Copenhagen AND when i have no money?
I know Copenhagen is our capital but the rest of the country does exist too!! We do have concert halls all over the country! Jesus christ spread out a little! Will ya?

21/2 All Time Low is playing in 'Store Vega' and the tickets is only 220DKK !!! But the train ticket to Copenhagen is another price -.-  So i can't go!

17/3 Is it time to a japanese invasion! MIYAVI is freaking coming to Denmark?! Little Denmark?! It is amazing! I have been listing to his music since i was 15 or something and i have never thought it could be possible to get him to Denmark, but again... in Copenhagen... 'Studie 2'.

This is not making my anger against people in Copenhagen smaller.. They get all the best artists >.<

Having a little fangirl moment...

So yeah... Today i was - yet again - a computer expert at made my old old OLD laptop work through another computer (don't want to explain in details) but i found a lot oF old pictures xD
Some of them was happy forgotten and some of them... made me fangirl...

Because 14-15 year old be was the biggest fangirl.. still kind of is.. but it's not that bad anymore!
I have thousand THOUSAND pictures of Tokio Hotel xD  it's madness! But i came back to my little.. safezone, my little obsession... my little... fangirl flashback and yeah.. not im watching old videos and old pictures and fangirling so hard that it hurts my inner organs!

So yeah... i tthough i wanted to share it, but i don't think anyone is interested in watching all my pictures and videos so i'll cut it down to one video who explains everything i feel right now... the title of it is the best explanation of all time actually...

Song of the day: Spilt - Roar (Katy Perry cover)

So i have been following this kind of unknown German band called Split for a while now and i actually bought their CD and shirt sometime last year or the year before maybe? I can't remember, but they are actually really good :3
Lately they have been making some cover version of different popular songs which just makes the songs so much better!! My favorite of their covers is their version of Katy Perrys (kind of) new single Roar!

New discovery: The Twisted Sister

I don't know if you can call them new, but they are new for me!
I was randomly going through my favorite 80's songs on youtube one day and then this band Twisted Sister came up as realated to my search results and then of course i had to see what it was and i actually thing i have hear them before without knowing it, but i think they are really great if you like 80's music! They started in the 70's but i think it sound most like classic 80's rock :3

They are not pretty in any way xD  but i really like their music!!

"...No he is lying! It's TOKIO HOTEL!"

Just a quick update to say hey and WE FREAKING WON!

I have to admit that i did not think we had a big chance against the belibers, directioners and what every the other fanbases is named, but we did it!
The Aliens won the biggest fan award at the MTV EMA 2013 which is still going on in Amsterdam right now.
I think it's amazing how a band who have not been coming with any music for a couple of years can win this award, but that is just a prove of how dedicated the fans still are and we still love the guys ;-D

Of course i have been sitting on twitter for a long time to read all the hate comments from the other fanbases and i think it's great that they are so easy to piss off and im enjoying doing it xD  (Im a bad person i know)

But Congratulations to Tokio Hotel, to the Aliens and to us! Cheers!

"There is the nominees, but who will walk away with the price? Will you do the honor? You have the envelope."
"And the winner is...Justin Bieber..." * little girls scream*
"Hahahah he is lying!"
"No, it's TOKIO HOTEL!"

PRICELESS!! i don't like rappers, but i sure like this one fucking with the belibers xD (sorry my language)

Song of the day - Bon Jovi - Hallelujah

I know there is thousand versions of this song, but i really REALLY love Bon Jovi's version of it!
It's not my favorite song even though it's beautiful, but Bon Jovi makes me love it with his rough voice!
(But i still prefer his own rock ballads!)

Harry Potter Festival 2013

I realized that i totally forgot to write about this! Really, Helene? Yes... im an idiot...

I have known about this festival for over a year, but i have never been able to go to it because i did not know anyone who lived nearby! Because it is in Odense and that is pretty far away from me. Almost 3 hours in train...
So yeah maybe i took advantage of one of my friends who is now going to the university in Odense ... Thank you i love you! ;-*  (you know i was not there only for the festival!!)

I did not know what to expect! I saw some pictures from 2012 and the roleplay was looking pretty damn good! So i though it would be like going in Hogsmeade or something like that! i though i would be able to buy the candy that JK Rowling described in the books and showed in the movies! I would like to have some real Bertie Butt's beans or the chocolate frogs! I may have though they would sell some real merch... but no...

Most of it was only for children.. like... really small children but i had fun anyway! Mostly because i was visiting my friend, but the end of the weekend with the Harry Potter concert was... AMAZING! As soon i heard the start of Hedwig's Theme... i had a meltdown! Everything from my childhood came back! The joy of seing a new Harry Potter movie or the first time my mother was reading the books for me! Simply magical!
And as my friend said.. when the concert ended and we walk out from the concert hall it was the same empty feeling we had, like when we saw the last movie and came out from the cinema...

Both my friend and i are going around with serious thoughts about being roleplay actors at next years festival! I have a half costume so why not complete it and use it? If i get the chance i'll do it!!

(I stole some of the pictures from one of the girl i was there with! sssh)

House pride!

"No pictures"-sign... pppfh... the concert was not started when i took this picture!!

Professor Pomona Sprout

YOU KNOW WHO?

Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy! And... some Slytherin girl...

Nymphadora Tonks
