I'm going to Florida!

...i have known this since summer but i have paid for everything now and got my visa so now i am ready! I will officially be gone for a month, February 2016!

I have never been outside Europe so i am preparing me to the extreme and needs to know everything about the areas we are going to stay in. We land in Orlando and is going to live in the Kissimmee area. The part that is known as "the paradise of amusements parks". It's a part of my studies and we don't know exactly what we are going to do. But i think we are visiting VisitOrlando, Legoland and Universal studios as a part of our lessons and then there is extra time to visit Disney if we want to.

When we move on to Miami we are going to volunteer at the Wine and Food festival at South Beach. I have heard it should be really fun and apparently there is some famous chefs know from TV going to be there but i don't really see and cooking shows so i don't really know any of them beforehand but it sounds cool.

We ends the whole trip with a cruise to Bahamas with the Royal Caribbean cruise with All inclusive! I'm usually not much for sailing and cruising is not something that is high on my 'to do' list after having a roommate that was obsessed with Titanic.... But i don't say no to experience something new!

A year in 'goodreads challenge'

On the page goodreads you can find books to read, you can see which books your friend have been reading and you can give yourself a challenge. First i gave myself a challenge to read 12 books. That was one each month and for one who normally didn't read that much, it sounded like a lot. But over the year it really made me want to read some more. So i found time to it and i ended up changing my goal to 25 and right now i have read 26 this year and i'm still reading.
So i though i wanted to show and comment on the 25 books i have randomly read in my challenge.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
It's a classic and even though it is kind of old, it was not to hard to read acutally.
Fist time i met this story was in the Disney version of it and i can't stop seing Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit. I'm so sorry.
I gave it 4 our of 5 stars

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
This was extremely in 2014 and i haven't seen the movie yet.
I thing i bought this book in London when i went Christmas shopping with a friend and now that people said it was the best movie in a long time i wanted to read it first. It is not the best book i have read but it is very cute and yes... i did cry in the end. But i never fell in love with Augustus like many others. I missed that a bit.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Allegient by Veronica Roth
It's the third book in the Divergent Series and i read the two others at Christmas 2014. I really like this series. It was one of these books i wanted to read before i saw the movies. I really lived this book through. I felt so frustrated whenever the characters did and even though my favorite character in the movies is Eric because he is bad ass and... well really hot, my favorite in the books is of course Tobias because i just love a good love story, ok.
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Oh yes Percy Jackson! The first of many book by Rick Riordan. Again i wanted to read the book before i saw the movie. And yes the movies is kinda old by now, but now that i started reading so much i wanted to read it first. Oh my i loved it! I couldn't imagine it at first, but i loooved it! Rick Riordan has a really humorous way of writing and i am so caught!
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful Strage by Alicia Kat Vancil
To be honest, i don't even remember this book. I had to look at the description on goodread to remember a few things about it. It is another teen romance book with a supernatural touch which was extremely popular a few years back. Though i remember there wasn't a lot happening in the story but i think it's because it's a prequel. It was not memorable.
I gave it 2 out of 5 stars.

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
Now we are talking! The first book in the Kane Chronicles! It is the best thing i have read after Harry Potter! It is Egyptian mythology happening in the present with a lot of magic going on and it is awesome! It's about two siblings that was separated at an early age. Carter is traveling with his dad while Sadie lives in London with their grandparents. Their mother's dead as a mystery. Their dad takes them both to the british museum and.. well... shit happens! Don't want to give everyhting away!
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

Throne Of Fire by Rick Riordan
The second book in the Kane Chronicles. Of course i just wanted to read this as soon i could. I borrowed these at the library because they are so expensive in danish and i don't really live near the library so i was really going out of my way to get these books. I live in the middle of nowhere... so it really means a lot...
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
Precy Jackson again! I don't know if it is cheating but i listen to this as a sound book. I was in a creative flow and i was drawing a lot so i could not "find the time" to read but i still could not just... don't be around books. So i was listning to this while drawing. The narrator was amazing and gave the characters a new life i could not give them myself becuase i saw the first movie and started to put the actors faces on the the characters. It is horrible now that the movies is nothing like the books. The books are soooo much better.
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

The Perk of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
This was a easy read while i was on vacation in Berlin. It was one of those books i bought in London the year before. I saw the movie long before and didn't know it was a book before it was a movie *embarrassed*. It is better than the movie though. I understand so much more when i can read Charlies thoughts instead of only seing it all from the outside. Charlie has so many problems we don't hear that much about in the movie.
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

The Serpent's shadow by Rick Riordan
The last book in the Kane Chronicles. As i said; the best thing i have read beside Harry Potter. It have learn me so much about the Egyptian mythology even though it is a fantasy book. It inspired me to write my own thing about mythology.
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
Another one of the book i bought in London. I remember i downloaded a random app and talked with some girl from England that recommended it to me. I really like it! It's a sweet teen love story. Very realistic if you ask me. Everyone has their problems and some are worse than others. But even though we are very different we can always help each other through. And that is what Park does with Eleanor. So cute!
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

The princess and the god by Doris Orgel
So after i read all three books in the Kane Chronicles and two Percy Jacksom books i went to the library and ask the librarian to recommend me some books about mythology. She gave me this book about Psyche and Cupid told from Psyche's point of view. It was really meh. Not very special but i do like myths.
I gave it 2 out of 5 stars.

The Beautiful Being by Jessica Barksdale Inclan
I don't even know about this one. It was a very random book from Forbidden Planet in London and it was on sale. And i'm not surprised why. It was really a pain to get through but i wanted to finish it now that i acutally paid for it. It was a really strange alien love story with a pair that don't want to realize they are made for each other and both walk out in the desert to find each other, have sex and then saves the world randomly. I don't even know...
I gave it 1 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful Dead: Summer by Eden Maguire
This is my cry series. Summer is the third book in the Beautilful Dead series and i don't dare to read the last one. It's about a girl that helps some angels that have an unsolved case. Summer was one of her friends so of course i cried a lot. But i'll admit i cry through the all. The last book is about her boyfriend who was stabbed in the back so he doesn't know who killed him. I don't think i can deal with the good bye to the boyfriend so i'll wait with that book...
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Me before You by Jojo Moyes
I don't know where to start. It was just really really good! I loved all the characters and as Lou i became madly in love with a man in a wheelchair. Will is such a weird character and i really hated him at first but oh my i got hit so hard. I can't describe how happy i became when i heard they are making this a movie. And Sam Claflin will be playing Will!!! I'm in heaven!
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
It was one of the many books i read when i was on vacation. I planed my reading so i would be reading this while i was in France visiting my family. I live nowhere near Paris where the book takes place so i didn't really get that Parisian feeling about the book i wanted but it was cute and easy to read. I sure will be reading the next two books from Perkins in the future!
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

I hate Myselfie by Shane Dawson
I was a big fan of Shane a few years back and when i saw i had read a book about his life i was very curious to see what was behind his funny and rather disturbing facade. I was really surprised! He was talking so much about himself in the videos and we still didn't know him that well. So much was going on behind the camera. He had dealt with so much shit. I'm surprised how he is still going strong today.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Fallen: Passion by Lauren Kate
It was so long time ago i read the first two books in the Fallen series so i was really confused when i started reading this one. But i remembered it as i read it and it is again a very easy read. It's a love story between a human that should not be born and a fallen angel. Very confusing though. I love me some fantasy and i love the fact that i googled some of the names of the angels and they are actually names from myths. This one is coming as a movie late 2016 i think?
I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
There was so much fuss online about this book because Zoe didn't mention it was ghost written but i wanted to give it a chance. It's not the best book you will read. It is a easy read and at first i though it was too much teen drama but well. There is no teen story without a lot of drama. Cute anyway!
I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

Where's the Groom? by Sophie Meyer
This book was free on Google Play and well. I understand why. It was a really weird story about a control freak that is forced to go to a lecture about life. And she finds out that she wants to married even though she is single. So she plans a wedding and makes a fool out of all her friends and family and well... let's just say that the ending is really random and gives you the need to flip a table.
I gave it 2 out of 5 stars.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner
I was really late with this one. It was again one of the book i wanted to read before i saw the movie and the movie came out long ago. It was on sale so i had to buy it. I really liked the book but the movie was different (as movies often is) so when i finally saw Maze Runner i had enough and went to see the second movie before i read the book. Then i will not be disappointed about the movie after i read the book. So i guess that is my new thing.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Anatomy of a Misfit by Andrea Portes
When i read the resume of this book i though it was just me. I was surprised by the main character. She was not what i thought she would be but it turned out to be an okay book and well sad as well. I see it as the story of a wannabe. Like the girls behind Regina in Mean Girl? The ending though...
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Geek Girl by Holly Smale
Oh yes. The Geek Girl Harriet. It's a sweet story with A LOT of weird fact that you didn't know you wanted to know but you smile at her geekyness. Harriet is really awesome in my eyes. And really awkward! She does the impossible and becomes a model and everyting become more awkward. Then this dude 'Lion boy' is in the picture... It is a must read for every teen book lover!
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Geek Girl: Model Misfit by Holly Smale
I could not let Harriet get away. There was a surprise in the start of the book where i though i had skipped a book but it was not the case. I really love this series because of the über geekyness of them. And in this one Harriet is on Japan and there is some japanese going on which i love!
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Magnus Chase: The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan
I have been waiting for this book for a while really! I added it on my 'to read' list as soon it was announced. I loved the greek and egyptian themed book but the Norse mythology is something "local" if you know what i mean. So i wanted to see how Riordan would portraying the vikings old gods. It was as fun as the other books and i can't wait to get my hands in the sceond book.
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

My first big assignment...

...and it's actually not bad.

I was a little worried when they started with the sentence "You have to write 21 pages." Oh shit... But right now i'm actually positive and right now i'm at 7300+ out of the about 50.000 that makes the 21 pages.

I'm writing about the fact that people stop buying bundled offers from the travel agencies and tend to do everything by themself. Book plane, hotel and activities and how to make them buy the budled offers again so that the guide industry doesn't die out.
It's actually not the most uplifting assignment ever, now that i'm actually educated tour guide. I hope to find something good in the end or many find someone who has some good idea is can pull on.
But the whole assignment it so much easier to write, when you are writing about something that acutally matters to you or you are interested in. And i'mso happy that my old guideschool friends wanted to help me and answear all the questions i had about there destination and guests!

Now that i'm only going to write my assignment all December i guess i will have a lot of free time. I hope to read a few Christmas books and bake a few things and maybe actually be active on this blog, ey?
I'm going to help my dad at the veteran home where my dad is actually going to play Santa... yes... And uh! I'm going to a Christmas concert with Stig Rossen with my mom and grandma. He's the danish disney voice and the voice of Christmas in our home so i'm looking forward to that!

Here i sits and here i remain until done.
