Aarhus - Shopping and ARoS

Last week i ended up in Aarhus on a one-day trip with a friend. It was first planed the day before now that i didn't know if i had work or not.

We where there so early that the stores were not opened yet. We used the time to go up and down the escalators in Bruuns Galleri and i guess people around us though we were crazy. But we were amused!

Anyway it was only casual shopping but we are both choosy in what we buy so it didn't take many hours before we were done. We didn't want to go home now that we told our old people that we wouldnøt be home for dinner, so we ended up googling the famous art museum ARoS and found our way there.

It's 90DKK per person under 28 and it's quite fun to be there! You don't have to be into art to have great time. There is a lot of thing to experience right now. Smoky rooms with a lot of colours (hard to explain but very cool!) and buttons to press. There was the most creepy oldfashion carousel which played spooky music and it started laughing too. It was a bit like a horror house!
And of course we said hello to the famous art piece Boy by Ron Mueck.

The new job as a service guide

Well it's not all new.

A few weeks ago i got a job as a Service guide in a mall. It's not something that is common in Denmark, so people don't really know why i'm there yet, but that only makes it more fun!
You meet so many kinds of people and they are all so postive when they meet you and hear why i'm actually there.

I really like helping people and that's kind of why i ended up on Service & CO guideschool. Though i did not get a job ontside Denmark (yet) i can still be a guide and that makes me happy! Also i can save up some money to go traveling sometimes next year - but more about that later!

One thing i have made a thought or two about is the uniform...  Not that it's ugly but green is not my colour and will never be! But i guess the colour makes it easier for people to notice me.

The red Pyramid Rick Riordan - review

The red pyramid is the first book in the Kane Chronicles...

..And i can say that i am hooked!
The book is build in a funny way. In the start of the book the author writes a little note about how he wrote it all down from a recording by two kids. Through the book it switches between the two main characters - Sadie and Carter - who i telling the story and who is coming with small comments in between. It's literally a fight between siblings throughout the book.

The reason i pick it up, was because i just finished the first book about Percy Jackson and loved how Rick Riordan wrote. On top of that i can't get enough of mythologies. Percy Jackson is about Greek Mythology and that's all cool and stuff, but when i found out that the same guy wrote a series about Egpyt Mythology i just knew i would love the book.

One thing i have to admit - there is a lot of diffrent gods and goddesses to keep an eye on. Now that i already knew a lot about Egypt Mythology it was quite easy for me. But i think you will come to a point in the book where you have to google something or simply look in the back of the book where the author has made a little lidt of all the gods, goddesses, creatures and in short form tell what they do.

The story is very much unlike many others. I tried the whole time to figure out what whould happend next, but the story takes so many turnes very quick that you often sit with a "What just happend?"- feeling. In a good way!

So if you likes Percy Jackson (book or movie ey?) i think you will love this/these books as well! I rushed down to the library to get the second book the same day i finished the first. And yes im that kind of girl that also looks for good fan fictions about the books :3

(I updated my goal on goodreads from 17 to 20 books in 2015, now that i already read 6 books)

WIP pictures of Gandalf the Gray

Yet another fan drawing. It is pretty much the only thing i draw to be honest!
This one was a request from a friend who is a big Lord of the Ring fan. Not that i'm not a fan, but you know.

I made a list on DeviantArt of people/characters i want to draw in the future! Then you can see what to expect on the blog in the future.

Goodreads - Goal of the year in books

I don't know if i should do this or not, but in Septemper i signed up to Goodreads and for the first time i have made a goal about reading books. I am the slowest reader ever so the goal is only on 17 books this year. I am already to finish my third book so i'm doing great and maybe i put the goal to low?

Anyway i though that maybe i should start a write reviews of the books im reading? I have never really done it before, but why not try?

I will add a little application to the right on my blog, so you can see what book/books i am reading. Then you will have to click the link to Goodreads, if just want to know which i have already been reading. Also you can add me as friend on Goodreads if you like!

Planning a trip before you get the money

Am i the only one doing this?
I'm not rich. I don't think any in my age is, but i have sooo many travel dreams i can't get out of my head and i can't ecape them again!
I can't afford to travel at the moment, but day after day i'm looking up new places to go and what to see at these places. I have pages of likes to adventures things i want to do around the world, in case i should have the money some day.

I have page up and page down of places in Japan/Tokyo i want to go shopping and what i want to eat while im there.
I have a list of adrenaline filled things i can do when i one day will get to New Zealand. And of course i have to visit The Shire when im there!

But right now im trying to find something not so expensive and put away those big dreams. I want to go somewhere this summer but it's hard to find something cheap without ending up on a shitty hostel in the middle of a big city. (Thanks London btw! Learn from experience)
I like the idea of Rome or Dublin right now. My penpal from US i actually going to be in Italy the next half year so maybe i can visit her? I don't know yet. But i NEED to get away from Denmark somehow. And - please - somewhere i haven't been before. I know my mom and dad is going to Rüdesheim AGAIN this year and then down to the family in France. It's like.. 10 years in a row... I simply can't do that anymore if i don't go anywhere else too.

So Dublin? Or Rome?

Maybe i'll do some pros and cons later.

WIP pictures of Mad Hatter

I have been away for a while now and im sorry! again..
But really.. im out of inspiration to write a blog, because nothing is really happening at the moment.
Most of the times im reading, writing or drawing.

But why not post a few drawings? I'm starting a "project". I have a whole bunch of people i want to draw, so i've started with more Johnny Depp because i'm OK obsessed with that dude and all his characters.

Maybe i will try and make some more computer drawings as well now that i have found out that i want to start studying as a Multimedia Designer. Just practicing.

If you want to, you can follow be on DeviantArt to see what i put up there or of course here on the blog.
